Quality Pleats extended surface pleated filters from Quality Filters outperform ordinary furnace filters with medium efficiency and are designed for lower pressure drop, and long service life which reduces HVAC equipment maintenance and energy costs. These Pleats are Standard capacity pleated filters and that Consist of 100% synthetic thermally bonded fibers with no chemical binders. These pleats can last up to four times the life of standard pads or panel type filters and extends life of more expensive secondary filters. The MERV 11 filters are rated per ashrae test standard 52.2. The controlled pleat spacing maximizes surface area and dust holding capacity and is bonded to the enclosure frame to prevent dust bypass. The enclosure frame is constructed of high strength moisture resistant beverage board and the diagonal support members of the frame are bonded to the entering and exiting apexes of each pleat to prevent pleat collapse and filter bowing.
