The MSA-45 is used on the new R410 Mini Split systems that have the larger unique fitting on the service valve. The description of that fitting is 1/2 inch acme Male-20 UN. This Adaptor will screw onto the 1/2 inch Acme Male-20 UN fitting and allow you to connect a standard 1/4 inch service hose to it.
